Hello, my name is Aaron Ivey. This website was created as a way to distribute research based information on the benefits of interval training. I began my formal study of fitness and exercise in 1998. Since then I have spent many years sorting through countless research articles and information online searching for the best ways to lose weight safely and effectively.
I found a lot of information that didn’t match with current research regarding exercise and the best ways to lose weight. Admittedly, I am one that has a good grasp on the theoretical aspect of weight lose and fitness but has struggled, like so many, to get satisfactory results applying what I learned.
Once I found a system that worked for me and complied with current research, I decided to begin this website to help other people who are struggling to lose weight. You’ll find on this website a collection of articles and research that I have found helpful. You will also find a couple of programs that I am confident are founded upon sound principles and, most importantly, will give you great results. I hope you also find it useful.
I am a Certified Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. He specializes in the prevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. He trains athletes and the physically active from the time they get hurt until the time they are fully participating in their sport or activity.
My graduate research involved how anaerobic training and power affect aerobic performance. He has worked with athletes of all levels and abilities from professional to recreational. He has a passion for exercise and helping others get the most out of their workouts.
